New Look
I know I'm late in blogging. Somehow, my computer cannot work anymore. It refuses to connect to the Internet. This has fuelled my suspicions that my computer has been hacked into. It's a terrible, agonising feeling looking at the computer only to find that the Internet is out-of-bounds.

I'm now toying with the idea of closing my blog. What's the point of having a blog when you have no updates? To close or not to close?

Nevertheless, I have not decided what to do yet.

Recent updates:

I have cut my hair. It's now shorter than ever. My shortest crop ever since JC.

Wait a minute.

Come to think of it, it's the shortest crop in my whole life. Initially I was not used to the lack of proper coverage around my face. My hairdresser even questioned if I felt naked(<-- not a literal usage) without my usual tresses. I'm now gradually adjusting to the new, more punkish look.

Hey...my looks have changed but deep inside, it's still the same old, jovial Ms Ho.
The responses have been rather mixed but since I only get to live once, I'd better try out as many things as I want before I am crowned 'OLD'.

I have to go now. Till my next blog!

Exam Fever
Now that the exams are almost over, it's time for the angels to celebrate and for the teachers to sob - 160 scripts x 2 (paper 1 and 2). I marked till about 4 am yesterday morning because the momentum was there.

Anyway, these few days have been a blast, simply because there was no teaching and the school was surprising silent, in comparison to the noise that they normally make.

Anyway, here's some various characteristics I observed about angels during the invilgilation process.

We have angels who are:

1) Speed demons - they simply blaze and breeze through the paper. They seem to know the answers to every question and sit at their tables impatiently, waiting for the teacher to say time's up. I believe that they must have checked like up to 25 times before they hand in their papers. Normally, they have this conceited and overconfident look, with the phrase "The paper is too easy for me" plastered all over their faces.

2) Staring at the ceiling or window, hoping for the answer to appear out of thin air - Obviously these angels are hoping that the ceiling or windows can give them some answers. They probably studied at the last minuteand can only recall certain information.

Sorry, this only happens in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Plus, the element of the magic talking mirror is not there. Enough said!

3) Checking till the last minute aka The Perfectionists - Heard of The Incredibles? Well, these people scrutinise every word used in the question and check every piece of answer in the minute detail. These angels are commonly mistaken for Sherlock Holmes in action and commonly termed by others as "Kiasu" (cannot afford to lose). To them, a mark probably means the world to them.

Don't get mistaken, I always encourage angels to check till the last minute. Don't believe, ask 2E7.

4) The leg-shakers - Having finished their papers, they simply sit down at their tables and, yes, you guessed it - shake their trotters. Almost oblivious to the teacher's repeated advice to check their work, they continue their leg-shaking action.

Haha...I'm not trying to be evil here, but guess who will have the last laugh? Ahem *clears throat*

5) Unable to do but unwilling to give up without a fight - These angels have the never-say-die spirit. Even when they cannot answer like 99.9% of their questions, they will try to answer the remaining 0.01%, hoping that lady luck will bestow the with the correct guesses on the rest of the questions.

6) Totally about to give up - Looking at their anguished faces, you'll probably think even if you give these angels another 200 minutes, there would be no difference in their answers. *Sigh*

Ok, I'm back to marking after a major binge at Sakura, Safra Tampines.

Something Stupid...
I did something stupid today.

It was a silly act.

Something that doesn't make sense

Something I totally regret.

Something that was a rash decision.

Something that was and still is unimaginable.

Something that was extremely ludicrous.

Something that caused me great grief.

I totally hate myself now for doing it.

Guess what? I cut my fringe myself and I now look like a total nerd. *rolls my eyes*

Great job!
